A/Y Residence

Boomerang design. The residence is located on Paniotis hill. We have chosen 3 strategic materials (concrete, rusted and stone) to synthesize our design as well as big glass openings in strategic positions to emphasize the magnificent view of the Limassol seacoast. After many thoughts and on-site tests/models, we opted for a boomerang-shape building.

On the 1st floor, 8 hotel-style bedrooms, with link to a balcony, have direct views to the seacoast, controlling the south light with our office's custom design rusted panels. Ground floor is a share space of non-private program with direct link both with the back yard and the basement as well as with the magnificent pool amenities in the front.

Custom design, rusted, perforated panels are married with reinforced concrete surface and stone to protect privacy of spaces but also to provide the sense of familiarity of the Mediterranean culture. On side-ends, we have strategically designed concrete monoliths to give light openings / privacy to the spaces.
